The food is classic beach bar territory, burgers, wraps, seafood, cocktails, nothing overly complicated, but honestly nobody comes here expecting fine dining anyway. People come because Eagle Beach is ridiculous, the water looks fake in certain light, and Coco Loco gives you exactly what most beach days secretly want: cold drinks, shade, bathrooms and showers nearby, and absolutely zero pressure to do anything productive. Reviews are mixed on pricing and speed during busy cruise days, but almost everybody agrees the location itself carries the whole experience effortlessly.
Go later in the afternoon, when the cruise crowd starts disappearing and the beach suddenly relaxes again. The side closer to the water is worth it, even if your towel ends up permanently full of sand afterwards.
