Gateway to India is not one of those fancy Indian restaurants with dramatic lighting, expensive cocktails, and waiters explaining cumin to you for twenty minutes. It’s much better than that.
The place is small, simple, mostly focused on takeout, with just a handful of tables outside. But once the food arrives, absolutely nobody cares about fancy interiors anymore.
People come here because the food is genuinely very good. Rich curries, proper spice, soft naan, and great weekly specials. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for Aruba, and there’s a very real chance you’ll already start thinking about your next order halfway through eating the current one.
